Littera - Traductores Online is Xevi Solé, Scheherezade Surià and Pablo Álvarez.
Perhaps it was being the grandson of a librarian that gave him his early love of reading. With a degree in Translation and Interpretation (Pompeu Fabra University, 1994-1998), followed by postgraduate studies in Audiovisual Translation (the Institute of Translators and Interpreters, Strasbourg, 1999), since that time he has worked as a freelance translator. He is a generalist translator, with a skill set that covers many different specialities and has extensive experience in working on a wide range of different text types.
Over the years he has collaborated with a number of agencies in the translation of aeronautical (EUROCOPTER), medical (Satelec), commercial, legal, advertising and technical architectural texts.
He has worked for the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of Barcelona University.
He has worked for the COAC (Architects Association of Catalonia) and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation.
He is currently working for Catalan television (TV3), specifically on the translation of sports programs and contracts.
Throughout the 14 years of his professional career he has translated 50 books for a series of different publishers.
A literary translator, and language enthusiast from a very early age, she took a degree in Translation and Interpretation (Pompeu Fabra University, 2000-2004), followed by a post graduate course in Literary Translation (IDEC-Pompeu Fabra University, 2004-2005) along with a Masters in Audiovisual Translation (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2010-2011). Her extensive experience thus far has been centred on permanent collaborations with a series of different agencies and publishers. She has a broad-based knowledge of specialised literary and audiovisual translation from English into Spanish and Catalan.
In the seven years that she has been working as a translator she has translated over twenty books, covering a wide range of subjects (romantic fiction, children’s books, essays) and has also subtitled dozens of films, such as Madagascar, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda or Puss in Boots. She also took part in the dubbing work for the series The Good Guys as well as working on audio-description for blind people.
In love with her work, and immensely passionate about the different branches of translation, Scheherezade also has her own blog, En la luna de Babel, where she shows off her versatility, accompanied by an insatiable curiosity with regard to the many and varying aspects of language and its translation.

Who we are
We are launching Littera - Traductores Online at a time when linguistic exchange is a constant, globalisation is all and Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. As professionals in the sector our aim is to continue to provide quality despite the emphasis, in the current economic situation, on controlling costs, which is why we offer our services with an eye to both quality and price, providing one of the best value-for-money offers on today’s market.
We have invested in criteria of quality, taking into account the needs of each client and seeking the translator with the right skills set for each project, not solely in terms of linguistic combination but also thematic specialisation.
Littera - Traductores Online is a collective of professional translators, of proven reliability and confirmed experience, founded in 2013 with the goal of providing a service that is tailor made to meet the needs of our clients. This enterprising group of translators, philologists and interpreters work together in order to cover an extensive range of language combinations and thematic areas.
Every translation is based on maximum rigour and entails a detailed and exhaustive analysis of the text to be translated or corrected. We will then quote you a price and indicate the deadline, guaranteeing the highest possible work standards. Finally the work will be sent out to the most suitable translator, in terms of language combination and thematic specialisation. As linguistic mediators we have the perspective of the translator/corrector along with that of the agency/client, enabling us to respond to the needs of each of the parties involved.
Here you’ll find some examples of the translations that we have produced in a number of different spheres
